Desigual’s New Store in Barcelona: a New Way of Shopping

Unequal opens in Barcelona its first shop-showroom which proposes a new way to go shopping. A place to be inspired by the unequal people and wants to be magical: the life space is cool, to feel at home.

The first shop-showroom of the mark is located on calle Caspe in Barcelona. The House of life is cool is very special, both in its setting decoration like the way put the clothes. It’s an immense Bazaar which coexist in bohemia and disorderly way memories of trips with Grandma’s furniture, works of art with era lamps, Turkish carpets with a mix of rugs or retro comfortable with collections of vases. and best of all, there are clothes lying on strings, pots in the courtyards, spacious tables and cozy sofas and armchairs leather in testers. Berlin, 1920s : Women’s Fashion

The revolution and audacity of the Golden twenties, a period of transgression in which the woman was the major protagonist, were also embodied in fashion.

Three large mirrors making the form of a triangle in the middle of the Hausvogteiplatz remember that one day it was the center of Berlin fashion. The most famous brands in the city gathered in the vicinity of this square. Most were small businesses and many were commissioned but textile production was one of the most important industrial branches was the metropolis. In the mid-1920s exported more than one third of what it produced and worked in its factories around 150,000 people.

Although Paris was the capital of Haute Couture, Berlin was the leader of clothing for making fashion wearable and affordable provedora for all budgets. However, the “Haute Couture” had also reserved space in the best neighborhoods in the city: Tiergarten, Ku’damm and Unter den Linden.

Haute couture autumn-winter 2010-2011: Valentino

The last day of parades of haute couture in Paris we had reserved two proposals of large firms: Jean Paul Gaultier and Valentino. The latter surprised with a very young and away from other proposals baroque \’Haute Couture\’.

Valentino\’s proposal, led by Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, directed his arrows at a younger audience and relaxed than in previous proposals. Female? Elegant Yes? Also. However, the collection has left a sour taste among the faithful of the house.

The flirty mini-dresses, in which denotes a style clearly influenced by Miu Miu, replacing the usual party dresses. The designers have opted for a feminine collection, with echoes sixties dominated by the cut \’babydoll\’.

The color palette is soft and concise. The black and white are the protagonists, with muted pastel colors. The characteristic \’Valentino red\’ in this collection is limited to a couple of simple designs
